Karim's reading wish list

Here is a list of the top ten books that I would like to read - I will post reviews of these books as I read them. In the mean time, you can post your own comments if you have read any of these:

1. The question of culure, by the Moroccan author Ali Oumlil (in Arabic).

2. The arab shia: the forgotten muslims, by Graham E. Fuller and Rend Rahim Francke.

3. The Berbers (The Peoples of Africa), by Michael Brett and Elizabeth Fentress.

4. Conference of the Books, by Khaled abou El Fadl.

5. The Voyage and the Messenger: Iran and Philosophy, by Henry Corbin.

6. Ask Not : The Inauguration of John F. Kennedy and the Speech That Changed America, by Thurston Clarke.

7. In an Uncertain World: Tough Choices from Wall Street to Washington, by Robert E. Rubin and Jacob Weisberg.

8. Before the Storm: Barry Goldwater and the Unmaking of the American Consensus, Rick Perlstein.

9. The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America Since 1945, by George H. Nash.
